If I Stay

This the story about a girl stuck between worlds who has to choose between life and the afterlife. Cello prodigy Mia tells the story between her current life and everything she's experienced up until a fatal car accident. She reflects on the past because it'll influence her decision for the future. Within the life changing choice, Mia meets the irresistible, guitar playing Adam. Adam pulls Mia out of her shell and introduces her to the life of an on-the-rise rockstar. Music brings them together and also tears them apart. In the past, Mia had to decide if music was more important than her beloved Adam; but, in the present, Mia must decide whether to stay on earth or go in to the afterlife.

I really enjoyed this book because Mia connects to those who have ever been on the outside of the in crowd because of their talents. Mia possess an old soul and is humble about her accomplishments. She finds a way to describe life in the form of music. She's a character worth reading about and falling for. By the end of her story, the reader will want to help Mia make the inevitable decision between life and death.
